CURRICULUM UPDATE

This week we have been actively engaged in activities related to our project on weather.  Our focus has been on rain, rainbows and thunderstorms in anticipation of the spring weather right around the corner.  We have participated in a few fun experiments, told a story about a bear getting caught in a thunderstorm and sang songs and did some movement exercises to fill our mornings.  Our project has even coincided with our Spanish curriculum.  Senora Kus has taught us the words for many types of weather.  Here are a few that have learned:

Esta lloviendo - it's raining

Esta nevando - it's snowing

Esta nublando - it's cloudy

Hace frio - it's cold

Hace calor - it's hot

Hace sol - it's sunny

Hace viento - it's windy

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
