Infant - Toddler I Transition

Transition Packets

As your child transitions from one program to another, you will be required to attend a transition meeting. You will meet the age level coordinator, as well other parents whose children are transitioning at the same time. At these meetings you will be given necessary information to ensure a successful transition for your child and family.

Infant - Toddler I Transition

Your infant is becoming a curious and fun toddler and is ready to experience a new playground, new friends and a new and bigger classroom. This is an exciting time for you and your child. In the weeks, leading up to this transition, your infant coordinator will encourage you to visit your child’s new classroom with your child. Our teachers will be visiting your child in the infant room to get to know them better and help them feel comfortable when it’s time to move to the TI program. You will be required to attend a transition meeting that will provide necessary and helpful information. Some of the topics that will be covered include: Differences Between Infant and TI; Expectations; Developmental Milestones; Communication System and Curriculum; Supplies and Materials. You’ll also learn what you can do at home to support your child’s adjustment at school and how we’ll partner with you to make this a great experience for your family.
